Course format
This course is delivered on a one on one basis (one teacher - one student). The two parties are connected via computer, internet and regular phone line.
The duration is a 3 days or 21 hours and scheduling is flexible. There is no hardcopy material supplied with the course. A lot of excellent on-line LabVIEW Tutorials are available; the student can download and print the documentation.
Pre-requisites
Experience using Windows or Mac, Programming experience helpful but not
mandatory.
Hardware minimum requirements: P166 computer with a minimum internet speed of 28.8 Kbps . A speaker phone or telephone equipped with a head-set.
Course Overview
The basic course teaches
you to use LabVIEW to develop your own applications.
This course prepares you to:
· Understand front panels, diagrams, and connectors/icons
· Create and save your own VIs so you can use them as subVIs
· Create applications that use gpib and plug-in data acquisition (DAQ)
